太阳下山明早依旧爬上来

Went to the Adidas Sundown Marathon yesterday. Reported at 6pm at Tanah Merah before being dispatched to our various stations by buses. There was apparently a screw-up with the buses. Surprisingly, I don't see large groups of volunteers at all.

Reached our drinks station which was also known as Aid Station 12 to start our duty. The 5 of us (me, KC, Erwin, CK and ZR) was in charged of 100 plus with 2 other guys. Runners started coming at about 8 or 9. However, it was quite slack until the 42km runners started running at 12am. They reached our station at about 1.30am onwards and we were busy all the way till 4am or so. I was so busy that I can almost forget my name. Lol.

The last runner went pass at about 8am or 9am and we finally managed to pack up. In the middle, managed to take a short nap for 1 hour or so. Reached home at 10am and slept all the way till 8.20pm or so. =p

This is the 100 plus syrup I got back! I can only say it's real nice, making 100 plus with syrup!

平常的一天

Did some e-learning stuff and finally got to know how to set up the ILS for my 737 PIC. Basically was just like a zombie today. Especially during dinner.. =( When you didn't reply my msg. =( Glad to know you're ok now. =D

P.S. Tomorrow MIGHT be the day!!!!!!

Finished my first IS module today, Television Beyond Entertainment. Overall, this module is great. Our presentation today was alright, not the best, but also not the worst! Went to hand in Wuhan form and came home to play flight sim. Apparently, it's giving me some major problems today, and I reinstalled it twice and it finally worked. One more thing, my 737 PIC is finally working. But currently, I can takeoff but can't land, as I can't get the ILS signal. Gahhh.. What's happening in this world?!

Went to school to do TVE again. Finally completed everything today and presentation's tomorrow. Argh, have to reach school early to print the stuffs. There goes my sleep.

Funny dream today! Dreamt that we went to Philippines instead of Wuhan. Why such a random place? To be more specific, it's Manila! What's more, we're supposed to take Business Process Engineering in Wuhan but I dreamt that we went to take EM3A (which is not even in my modules)! After that, I got "pangseh-ed" (in my dreams) by 2 people, lol. Don't want to name them. :D Tried to call one of them but just couldn't get the correct number. The first four numbers was 9228 (if you can guess whose number start with that, lol) but I kept dialling other numbers like 9278, 9238, 9258 and I never hit 9228. When I finally hit it, I woke up. =.=

Went to school to do TVE today. Seriously, I almost used up all my brain juices. Ideas are just so hard to think. =.= Went for HI! Club after that. Still as fun! Learnt the whole song today. I guess that means more and more practice. :D

从拾回忆

WSS practical was the start of my day. Lab test today which is 3%. Easy peasy.. Lol. Had a 2 hour break since we ended early. Went to Clementi for lunch at Sumo House. The food here taste great! Went back for MnC lecture which I actually listened to class.. O.o Next was practical with John Lam. His lessons are truly enjoyable, especially the part when he suan me and I suan him back.. Some of his jokes are real COLD man. That made the atmosphere colder when the lab temperature is already 20 deg.. Lol.

Slacked for a while at Block 51 before KC and myself decided to play pool. We decided yesterday to pick up some Semester 1 memories, therefore we went to Bukit Timah Plaza (although we went to Beauty World last time) to play pool. Lots of funny stuff happened again. I laughed so hard at the part when I hit the black ball in when it's just my second hit of that round.. Lol, really brings back memories. After pool, decided to have dinner at Pizza Hut. To my astonishment, it's actually my first time going Pizza Hut with him O.o. Had our dinner and talked for a long time. After 1 year I'm still shocked we have endless stuffs to talk about. Our mouths just can't stop, haha!

Took bus 852 to Bukit Batok and switched to the MRT back home.

No lessons next week because of E-learning! Kudos! However, assignments are... =(

No title

Went for SMKT lecture followed by FPD tutorial. Lucnh went to Pines and photocopied passports for Wuhan briefing later in the day. SMKT tutorial next, I guess my presentation is better than last week's as I understand the topic more.

Wuhan briefing. Had to settle some official stuffs like visa application and subsidy application. Serious matters this time.. Haha. Seriously, I hope nothing big happens when I'm in Wuhan. If not I'll be worrying in a place more than 3000km away.

Came home and played flight sim. For some reasons, couldn't land properly today, therefore went to read the Doraemon comics I bought on Thursday and fell asleep.Was woken up by some interruptions. After I finally woke up I became very blur O.o

Hope some childish people will wake up. I don't know you, but I'm watching you.

武汉, 我来了！

Went for IS early this morning and watched shows again. Watched this show on religious rituals which made me O.o. We also had our quiz, I only scored 6/10.. Argh, I guess there goes my A. Our report is being given back also.. Not very good marks too.. Final assignment is 40%, which we have to think of a TV programme and work it out. Fortunately we do not have to really shoot the show!

Received an SMS from CK in the middle of the class. We all got selected for the Wuhan trip! Woots! I'll be so looking forward to it! Next would be.. Thinking of a domain name for my Wuhan blog? LOL. However, I guess I'll miss Singapore even more! 6 weeks! 6 weeks is the duration. Hope it passes by quickly. I scared I'll be unable to recognise Singapore when I come back, LOL!

Lunched and went to Orchard as Erwin jioed me to buy MOOKS shirt. CK and ZR came along too. The white shirt fitted me well but my "2 dots" came out, therefore I decided not to buy. Slacked at the 1st floor of Heeren before deciding that we should go to Sim Lim Square. Bought my 737 Pilot in Command which I guess has some bugs in it such that my APU can't start up. Also bought my wireless mouse today. Finally reached home at dinner time!

P.S I guess I should start controlling my finances.....

没有电脑

Whole day did not use laptop as firstly OPCS didn't allow us to use it and FPD had test. FPD test is funny, we could actually discuss answers in the open and the lecturer didn't care much! Fortunately I was able to do after massive discussions.. x.x OPCS lab was just as boring doing the software, find no point in doing it actually. =.=

Went to find Elaine after school. Both of us were released at 5pm but I have to travel from NP to SP.. Argh, took me 1 hour in total as I went to buy a sandwich first, lol. Proceeded to West Mall on the MRT after that. Ahh, it's like sardines in a can! It got worst at Jurong East. You really have to squeeze like no tomorrow to get into the MRT, same for getting out. As she wanted to buy a birthday gift for her bro, we went to Comics Connection to look at the Gundams. He joined us later on and we went on to Subway to have dinner. Halfway through, saw a group of people which I didn't expect to see. So suay to get "caught", argh. Lol.

Went to school early today to complete WSS tutorial. Ah, easy to do. :D Fortunately I ain't doing question 2, LOL! WSS lecture started at 2pm and continued on Chapter 3. Next went for OPCS where we continued doing our MRP. Time passes by quick today for some reasons!

After school, had dinner and went for Hi! Club. Learnt about pronouns and questions today, all interesting and fun! We had to choose a song to sign for the closing ceremony. After discussions, we chose My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson. Learnt only the first verse and chorus today, but still I find it fun signing to a song as it's more rhythmic. Practiced at least 10 times after I got home. Totally addicted. :D

FPD test tomorrow, I'm so gonna screw it up! :(

Everytime We Touch

Elaine came over to my house today as she wanted to finish her project. My handphone was in silent mode this morning but I was still awoken by the vibration of it, lol! The first time she called me. xP Went to pick her up at Pioneer MRT and brought her home to put her stuff before heading to Giant to purchase ingredients for lunch.

Came back and started preparing the dishes. Mushrooms, soup and cod fish are on the list today. All tasted quite well especially the mushrooms! Had some slacking and such before heading to jie's house. Hehe, dinner was well today too, had my favourite braised chicken. Walked around the Pasar Malam before heading home.

Today is one of the happiest day of my life. =p

完美的一天

Went out with Elaine today as she wanted to take some photos for her project. Reached Clarke Quay and we were like 2 lost ducks finding the way to their mummy. Finally we got into our track and took the photos. We covered almost the whole Raffles area, from Clarke Quay to Parliament House to Singapore Flyer. We somehow keep getting lost today, lol.

Went for Flight Experience at Singapore Flyer again. This time I guess the boss was there, I took the 15 mins package but she gave me 30 mins instead, LOL! Had a circuit around KJFK which I screwed up, couldn't land directly on the runway, a little off. >.< Next was an attempt to land on the aircraft carrier, which is physically impossible in real life. First try the pilot lost the carrier so we tried another time. Second time we managed to approach it but can't stop the aircraft in time. Well, very hard to land properly lol.

Dinner at Jia Xiang Mian and went on to Suntec to find jie. I'm glad she figured it out. Blehs, hope she doesn't turn back. Accompanied her to her dinner at a food court and then slacked a while at the Fountain of Wealth before heading back home. On the MRT, Elaine told me that our names are actually linked. If you take the names Daniel and Elaine and remove the first letter of each, the other 5 letters are exactly the same, just in different order. Also, another name which is Danielaine. Notice it can combine both our names? Lol.

Yesterday was Friday which means last day of school for the week! WSS lab and lecture followed by MnC lecture. During MnC had fun disturbing KC as it's the only lesson which I can disturb him actually, lol. Played until his face is so red and see tears in his eyes. (no, he's not crying lol) Came back home and flew around the world with my flight simulator. At 1.30am, called my jie and we chatted all the way till 6.35am and I finally managed to sleep at 7am or so. LOL, my longest phone chat so far. Sometimes I wonder how we can chat for so long, but I was so blur that I actually called her "pa" once. =.=

Wednesday
Woke up early for TVE. Today, we had lessons on how television can be a socializing medium. The lecturer showed us an episode of True Courage, depicting the person who brought SARS into Singapore. It's really touching, I can say. Watched more videos until I forgot what we actually watched. Lol. Went for lunch at Makan Place. Ate the oyster Kaki Fuyong today. I find the chicken one more worth it.. Lol. Reached home early and went on to sim.

Thursday

Only have to attend SMKT lecture and tutorial today. Lecture was just as usual, the lecturer really LOVES talking about airlines! At least that's enough to capture some of my attention. Lunch at Makan Place again. Had the new stall of Tepanyaki today. First time tasting and I'm sure this stall is not gonna be popular. Their beef is too tough, although their sauce is nice. Their "Golden Pillow" (the one which is egg wrap rice) is really of low quality. The egg is overfried, I taste the "chaotah" in it. For beansprouts, not very cooked, but mushroom is nice.

SMKT tutorial next. I can say my part today wasn't did very well as I did not know much about what I was doing. However, when we were released the lecturer came and told me my presentation was very good! Haha, that made me confident. Presenting has always been my strong point. That's how the AD for my ComT came I guess? What's more, the room is just beside my ComT room! Seems like that place is a fengshui place for me. Came home after that and continued what I do normally, flight sim!

充满不知道

Rise and shine, reported for OPCS lesson at 9am. Managing MRP today. Find it fun and easy to do! Next is break and went to Pines for lunch. FPD next. Honestly, I don't get what's happening in FPD at all, LOL. OPCS practical we had to do this software thingy which I don't get what it's used for anyway.

Had our Wuhan Selection Briefing next. Ah, 23 applicants and 21 vacancies. I seriously hope I'm not one of those 2 who's not gonna be selected! Or hopefully people withdraw and left with 21 of us. =p Went to Makan Place to do TVE project after that. What seem a hard task to me became easy when I got home. Wrote a total of 373 words for my part, although I do not know if all of them are of use.

出乎预料之外

Yet the start of another week! Had FPD lab today. Nothing much to lesson I guess. 3 hours break. Had lunch at Makan Place and went to IT helpdesk with Pam ask her laptop has some problems. Went for WSS lecture. I'm starting to love WSS! OPCS lecture was next. Argh, makes me feel like sleeping!

I did something extraordinary today! I joined the Hearing Impaired Club (a.k.a HI! Club)! Been signing for so long with friends that I decided it's time to join. =) However, I initially planned to join next week, but I don't know what pulled me in this time, LOL. I created my own sign name. It starts with D, simulating a plane takeoff and turning into L. That's the first and last letter of my name! Nicholas was my instructor! Best to have someone you know to be your instructor yea?

The lesson started off with alphabets, numbers and some commonly used words. Well, I know most of them, so ya.. Got to know some juniors also. =p We later played this game which we had to sign out EVERYONE's name! Ah, I was so nervous but phew, managed to do it. I'm the only "freshie" that has to sign out everyone's name. It goes like this. The first person (A) signs the name of the person sitting to the right(B) and the person to the left (C) will have to sign out the names of A and B. Get it? Lol. So it adds on and on.. Until I'm the last freshie in the group so I had to sign everyone's name! However, it's fun! :D

Cold Storage, the fresh food people!

Went for the Cold Storage Kids Run Expo today. Wow, I got to know lots of people. Reached at about 9.45am and reported into our respective stands. Got assigned to counter. Had to be the runner, but did some counter jobs too. Basically, counter jobs are just typing in the race ID and preparing the goodie bags for them.

I was at counter 1, but started "flying" around after lunch, since I got to know more people. Well, I really got to know tons of people today! At least 10? At least 3 to 4 of them are aunties though, LOL. I am sometimes a 师奶杀手. =p Finished the job and trained home.

On the train, someone accidentally pressed the emergency button and there was an emergency brake. Fortunately there was this "human pole" (pfft, use your imagination) for me to grab. Lol, thanks. I have problems maintaining balance today, keep wanting to fall. =.=

Out to shop!

Went out with Elaine today to Jurong Point as she wanted to buy a Mother's Day gift. Reached on time at 1.30pm, thanks to my nifty little bicycle! Walked around the whole JP but she couldn't find anything that she can buy for her mum. Therefore, we decided to walk around a bit more and buy our own stuffs first. =p

Bought the keychain shown above at Cards n Such. Costed $7.50 each, but was too nice for me to reject it! It has a quote below and the meaning of your name. Shockingly, the quote for Elaine's keychain ended with Daniel 12:3. Both of us were like.. O.o Finally, bought all the stuffs and went to Lai Lai Kitchen to eat. After eating, visited NTUC for her to buy chocolates and came back home.

Yesterday after school, went to Aston Specialities @ The Cathay to celebrate nat's belated birthday with sec school friends. Ahh, just totally brings back memories. YQ is still as crazy while Darrick still has lots of jokes to share. Let the pictures do the talking!









Their service is slow! My steak arrived only after 30 minutes and a cup of plain water takes 15 minutes to deliver. However, we entertained ourselves with lots of jokes and such to pass the time.

After that, went to watch The Uninvited at GvVivo. Ah, this movie is darn boring. The shocking parts make me laugh. Furthermore, I think they lack creativity. 100% of the time I was able to guess when is the shocking part coming. Cabbed home after that and talked with jie on the phone till like 5.40am before I proceeded on to my sleep.

Airlines & Airlines

Reached school on time today! Was lucky, no waiting time for MRT and bus. SMKT lecture today, lecturer keep talking about airlines. I was so enthusiastic to answer his questions. =p FPD tutorial I didn't listen anything, and for SMKT tutorial I presented quite well. =p Oh well, my day ends here. Ciao.

P.S. I'm suddenly watching BOLLYWOOD movies. =.= What's more, I dreamt in Cantonese a few days earlier, and last night I dreamt in Thai!

Woke up early today for TVE. My, it's crowded everywhere! Pioneer MRT wasn't so crowded, but things were worst at Jurong East. The whole MRT was jam packed. I had to squeeze out when I wanna alight at Clementi. Clementi bus stop was worst. Even more packed. Missed some buses as I couldn't get onto them. Finally, got onto 184 and reached on time. Got the quiz to do today. Ah ha, darn easy. I think at least can get 8 or 9, or maybe 10.

Assignment 2 today, had to think of 15 survey questions which made us crack our brains. Got everything settled and came home to COOK! Lazy to upload photos today, shall do that another day. :D

Unwell, went to see doctor and get an MC as I missed school today. Wow, seeing a doctor nowadays is expensive, $35. Rested at home for the whole day. Well, unexpected person I met while buying lunch today, lol.

I hope to have this nice dream tonight, having you to feed me while I'm piloting the plane! =p

Started out the day with WSS lecture, wow, I'm beginning to find this module interesting. =) Had OPCS lecture next. Argh, I still can't get what the lecturer is trying to convey. I shall pay more attention in the future!

Something happened today, ruined my day. But thanks Elaine, I feel much better now! =)

新加坡走透透 之 新都是男孩

Went out with Elane, KC, CK and Erwin today. Set off at about 12.45pm to meet Elaine at JE MRT before proceeding on to meet the rest at Somerset MRT. Finally, we all gathered and walked to Cineleisure. First shop we went to was New Urban Male, walked around and they wanted to buy tank tops. Went to see this shirt that lights up when there is sound. Looks nice, but the price isn't. $49 is the price. You even have to carry the adapter out. =.=

Next we proceeded on to New Urban Male @ Wheelock Place for another round of looking. KC and Erwin bought their tank tops, CK and myself bought our flip flops. Finally, a pair of havanas flip flops. Went back to New Urban Male @ Cineleisure where CK was psycho-ed to buy tank top also. I bought myself a NUM shirt. $50 was the price, but certainly more worth than the $49 shirt. Slacked outside Cathay Cineplex for a while before walking around Cineleisure like wandering souls. Went for dinner at Koufu @ Cineleisure. Eh, the Yong Tau Foo owner scam me! Never give me my golden mushrooms and 腐竹.

Finally, trained home with KC and Elaine. Back home, discovered this MEGA bilster on my leg.
