End of Year 2009

2009 has come and go. My New Year resolutions for 2009 has only been 20% fulfilled which is getting more plane models. However, I will work harder for the year 2010 so that I will succeed in my New Year Resolutions 2010. Definitely, there are wonderful events in 2009 for me to remember and they are as follows.

Countdown to 2009
A big group of friends together to usher in the year 2009, something wonderful to remember. =)

Cooking

I am in the kitchen almost everyday now doing my cooking. Therefore, it is inevitable that I will come up with some simple and tasty recipes with a very low capital. Here is one you can go with your rice / porridge perfectly!

For Porridge
3/4 cups of rice, washed
Water according to your liking (Thick, Middle, Thin)

For the Dish
1 Stalk of Xiao Bai Cai (小白菜)
4 Small Corn
70g of Mushrooms
2 Tsp of Oyster Sauce
50ml of Water
2 Tsp of Oil

Optional
1 Fish Fillet of choice
2 Tsp of butter

1. Wash the rice.

2. Boil the water and put the rice into the pot.

3. Prepare the vegetables accordingly.

4. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the corn and fry for 30 seconds before adding the mushrooms. Add the oyster sauce and water. When it boils, add in the Xiao Bai Cai and simmer till it is cooked. Serve hot.

If fish is used, heat the butter in the frying pan and put in the fish. Fry till well done and serve.

I am sick

Certainly, it does not feel good being sick especially when common test is next week. Loss of appetite, nose dripping like a tap, throat inflammation, slight headache. What more? Hope not. Every time my sickness starts with a throat inflammation and it gets worser and worser. Last night I even had fever. Totally moodless to do anything now, not even watch dramas or sleep. Being sick somehow makes me feel like I've lost my soul. When I walk around my house, I feel that I could just faint any time. What's worst was last night I periodically felt like throwing upbut fortunately I did not. Hopefully I'll get well soon and get to soar high in the skies like a plane. =)

Anyone able to decipher what is up there? Probably only peeps from HI! Club! Lol. I officially switched from class 2A to class 2F, Monday to Thursday class. I'm so glad I made the switch as I blend in well with this class. Partly is because I have some friends from Class 1D and I got to know some other new friends. Our song signing performance for this semester will be Bon Jovi - It's My Life. Quite an easy song to sign and I've practically learnt the whole song in 1 lesson. Looking forward to more HI! Club classes!
