Kluang Trip: Day 1 to Day 3
This is a late post, but nevertheless I shall share what I did when I went to Kluang, Johor, Malaysia. Kluang is a small little town located in the Johor State, 110km from Johor Bahru. It has about 250,000 inhabitants. The word "Kluang" comes from the Malay word "keluang" which means fruit bats.
Getting there is easy. Buses travel from Singapore to Kluang direct, operated by Five Stars Tours, ticket price is $12. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Larkin Terminal in JB. Ticket price is RM10. If you do not like travelling on the road, you can take the KTM Railway from Tanjong Pagar Railway Station.

Day 1
This day started with a school day. First up was WSS practical and tutorial. Learnt to use this software named EXceed 4000. You really have to make sure everything is in place! Next, went for Metrology and Calibration lecture. Practical next, my eyes were pain from reading the venier calipers, lol.
Went home to have a short rest and went out again to meet Howard at Woodlands MRT Station to catch Bus 950 to the customs. The queue was long, but we managed to catch it and took a seat. Reached Larkin at 8+, took the KKKL bus to Kluang. It's comfortable, like premium economy in a plane. Picked up by his parents upon arrival in Kluang. They were so happy to see me!
Had this chicken feet which was so nice! Deep fried. Ate it before? =p Too bad couldn't get a picture of it as I forgot to take my camera out.
Day 2
Woke up rise and shine, took the chance to take some pictures!

Went to have my favorite Bak Kut Teh after that. Been waiting dam long to eat it, ever since my last visit. It's really nice, which is why I always visit Kluang. =p After that, went home to slack. Having nothing to do, took some random pics..

Heavy rain this morning. It subdued at about 11am and went out for Beef Noodles. Went to Kluang Mall for a walk and bought some stuffs too. Back home to slack before going out to walk walk again. Went out to buy roasted duck and pig head skin, didn't manage to take a picture as the dinner was darn rush. Started dinner at 6.20pm and had to go out at 6.40pm to catch the 7pm bus back to Singapore. This bus is operated by Five Stars Tours, a Singapore company. Their bus is great! Feels like Premium Economy class on a plane too. They show movies too. Today, the movie Connected was shown. Nice movie, I must say. Finally, reached Singapore at about 9.30pm and cabbed home.

So, what happened today? Rise and shine, went to school for Television Beyond Entertainment lesson. The 8 days we were told to bring seem redundant, only had to check the TV schedule on it. I think I can just bring my laptop and check on the website. =.= Only 2 hours of class today, came home to play flight sim. Being sleepy, fell asleep at about 3 or 4pm.
At about 7pm, my handphone was vibrating as I left it on silent mode. KC asked me down for dinner at MacDonalds. Had my dinner and went to Giant for some shopping. Bought mushrooms and vegetables for cooking on Friday. Ah, the Christmas Island flight I made today was great!
